Xin Chen

Xin Chen possesses extensive experience in optical physics and fiber optics, with a tenure at Corning Incorporated from January 2006 to present. Initially serving as a Research Associate, Xin Chen developed a comprehensive understanding of multimode fiber systems and led R&D projects focused on next-generation data center solutions. As a Senior Research Scientist, Xin Chen invented cost-effective fiber measurement methods, contributing to significant cost reductions in mass production. Currently, as a Senior Research Associate, Xin Chen leads research and development efforts for innovative data center solutions. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physics from Nankai University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Optical Physics from Penn State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Physics from Nanjing University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Lanzhou University.
