Jamie Coates is an experienced educator and manager with a strong background in physical education, mental health, and community wellbeing. Currently serving as the Curriculum Area Manager for Sport, Outdoors, MaPS, and Adult Community Wellbeing courses at The Cornwall College Group since October 2021, Jamie previously held managerial roles at Recovery College Cornwall and PENTREATH LIMITED, supporting individuals with mental health challenges. From 2005 to 2018, Jamie was a Physical Education Teacher and Middle Manager at Callington Community College, and prior to that, served as a PE teacher at The Harvey Grammar School, where significant responsibilities included charity coordination and curriculum leadership. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from the University of St Mark and St John.
