Merlin Hanbury-Tenison

Merlin Hanbury-Tenison is an experienced professional currently serving as Managing Director of the Thousand Year Trust, a charity focused on restoring Atlantic Temperate Rainforests in the UK. As the founder of Cabilla Cornwall, an upland hill farm, Merlin promotes the restorative powers of nature for visitors seeking tranquility in the Cornish countryside. In addition to these roles, Merlin is a Trustee for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, working to protect and enhance the natural environment of Cornwall. Previous experience includes positions at PwC UK as an Operational Excellence Specialist, and as a Strategy Consultant at Sancroft International. Merlin also served as an Army Officer in the British Army and has experience as a Political Researcher at The House of Commons. Education includes an MBA from the University of Exeter Business School and training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
