Kevin Elkins

Kevin Elkins, P.E. is an experienced professional in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Mining Engineering at Appalachian Technical Services, Inc. since August 2023. Elkins has been with Coronado Global Resources Inc. since February 2018 as a Senior Engineer, where responsibilities include managing gas assets and costs at the Buchanan Mine. Prior to this, a long tenure at Consol Energy spanned from January 1991 to February 2018, with roles including Operations Manager for the Central Appalachian Region and General Manager of Operations, overseeing significant production and budget management. Elkins holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech, an MBA from King University, and a Master's of Science in Engineering with a focus on Environmental Science from Marshall University Graduate College.
