Harjit Basra

Harjit Basra is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in markets and trading. Currently serving as SVP of Markets, Operations, and Treasury at Corpay since November 2021, Basra previously held the position of Vice President and Head of Derivatives Trading at Cambridge Global Payments from March 2017 to December 2021. Prior to that, a lengthy tenure at Scotiabank from 1999 to 2016 included the role of Director and Head of FX Options Trading. Early career experience includes a summer internship in the Institutional Equity Derivatives Group at TD Securities in 1998 and a design engineer position at Motorola Canada Ltd from 1994 to 1998. Basra holds an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
