Richard Cleary is an experienced professional in the precision manufacturing and engineering sectors, currently serving as an Ambassador for Corporate Angel Network since February 2025. Prior to this role, Richard was the Vice President of Development at New England Air Museum from January 2022 to February 2025. Richard held several General Manager positions at Sterling Engineering Corporation, ATI Forged Products, and Sterling Machine Company, Inc., showcasing expertise in operational management and strategic planning. As President and COO of Hygrade Precision Technologies, Richard oversaw day-to-day operations and P&L for a small precision machine shop. Richard's earlier roles included Vice President at Capewell Components and The Purdy Corporation, focusing on life support equipment and aerospace components, respectively. Richard began a career at Hamilton Sundstrand, serving as Director for 21 years. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management from Rensselaer at Work and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
