Leann Rappaport

Ms. Rappaport is a Managing Director with CFGI, providing accounting and consulting services in a variety of industries. Prior to joining CFGI, Ms. Rappaport held positions at Consolidated Edison Company of New York and ICON Investments after beginning her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, New York.

Throughout her career, Ms. Rappaport has gained extensive experience with financial reporting, corporate accounting, and various other accounting functions. Ms. Rappaport has in-depth experience in SEC filings as well as internal management and Board of Directors reporting. Ms. Rappaport has worked in various corporate accounting roles, including general ledger close, consolidations and technical accounting. Additionally, she has experience in financial forecasting working with a forecasting model to assist in creating one to five-year forecasts.

While at CFGI, Ms. Rappaport held an interim controller role, responsible for all general accounting functions, as well as credit, collections and cash management. Ms. Rappaport also has assisted clients with a manual consolidation and drafting technical accounting memos related to asset acquisition, revenue recognition, restructuring activity, grant accounting and variable interest entity determination. She also has led IPO readiness projects and drafted S-1 filings.

Ms. Rappaport has managed the SEC reporting process for multiple clients, which included the timely filing of 10Qs and 10Ks (including one Super 10K filing) and the associated XBRL filings. In addition to completing the essential reporting requirements at these various clients, Ms. Rappaport performed 10K rewrites, improved processes surrounding the reporting function and assisted in improvement of the XBRL tagging. While working on the Super 10K, Ms. Rappaport worked closely with the accounting and legal teams to complete a restatement of multiple quarters across multiple years in addition to the current year filing.

Ms. Rappaport’s career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she was an audit senior working on an array of clients within the technology, advertising, media and venture capital industries. After PwC, she held the role of Financial Reporting Accountant at Consolidated Edison Company of New York. Subsequent to ConEd, Ms. Rappaport held the role of Associate Director of Accounting at ICON Investments and was primarily responsible for all SEC filings.

Ms. Rappaport graduated from Syracuse University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance.
