Mallory Black

Mallory is a Managing Director at CFGI and is based in Columbus, Ohio. She brings over fourteen years of experience delivering solutions to complex accounting and operational challenges, with experience within the Insurance industry. In her time at CFGI, Mallory has provided accounting advisory services, interim Controller services, has led implementations of the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) Standard, and she is considered a subject matter expert on Insurance and Investment accounting.

Mallory, previously a Director at Nationwide Insurance, held various roles within Financial Reporting and Analysis, General Ledger Integration and Acquisitions as well as Investment Accounting and Capital Management. Additionally, Mallory worked as an Audit Manager for Ernst & Young serving public registrants including a Property and Casualty Insurance Company and a Pharmaceutical Distributor.

She is skilled in technical GAAP and statutory accounting, SEC reporting, statutory filings, and internal controls. Mallory is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Capital University.
