Samantha Spino

Samantha Spino is a Managing Director with CFGI, providing accounting advisory and consulting services with a focus on private companies and operational accounting. Her 15 years of experience includes work in the entertainment & media, non-profit, residental & senior living, and software technology industries.

Before joining CFGI in 2019, Samantha had a collective 5 years in assurance at PwC and BDO, and she later worked her way up to Controller in private industry. Samantha specializes in operational accounting, with a focus on building departmental processes and schedules, strengthening internal controls and month-end close procedures, implementing new ERP systems and software integrations, and managing acquisitions and divestures for technical accounting and company-wide transformations. She has worked with companies to assess their current ERP environment to make recommendations for enhancements with existing systems and evaluate proposals for additional accounting software.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park – RH Smith School of Business, and she is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
