Smita Deshmukh

Smita Deshmukh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Smita started their career in 2003 as an Account Executive at New Horizon Advertising, where they coordinated advertising campaigns and provided administration support. Smita then joined Pratisaad Communications Pvt. Ltd as a Sr. Account Executive, managing advertising campaigns and maintaining strong client relationships. In 2009, Smita worked as a Client Servicing and Event Manager at Cinemaya Media Inc., leading and managing teams for event execution. Smita also worked as an Entrepreneur at Spruce Up from 2014 to 2017. In recent years, Smita has focused on their passion for yoga and held roles as a Yoga Instructor at Yoga With Smita LLC, Charlotte Family Yoga Center, and Corporate Fitness Works. Smita is currently the Marketing Director at YMCA of Greater Charlotte, where they have successfully executed out-of-school programs and developed a strong social media strategy.

Smita Deshmukh has a diverse education history. Smita completed an MBA in Marketing from Henderson State University in 2007-2008. Prior to that, they pursued another MBA degree in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2001-2003. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Shikshan Prasarak Mandalis Sir Parshurambhau College Arts, Science & Commerce Tilak Road Pune 30, which they completed from 1997-2001.

In addition to their formal education, Smita has obtained several certifications. Smita earned a Google Ads - Measurement Certification from Google in April 2023. In July 2018, they obtained certifications in Adwords Fundamentals and Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google, Social Marketing Tools. Smita also received the Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google in December 2017.

Furthermore, Smita has obtained certifications in other areas. Smita is certified with CPR/AED and First Aid from the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Smita has completed a 200-hour yoga teachers training course accredited by the Yoga Alliance. Additionally, they hold a Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite Academy.
