Ken Kurz

Ken Kurz currently serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at COPT Defense Properties, overseeing the organization's IT and cybersecurity functions. With a robust background in information security, Ken has held various leadership positions, including Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Delaware and Executive Director at the University of Oklahoma. Ken is actively involved in multiple cybersecurity organizations, including serving as Vice Chair of the Modernize Maryland Oversight Commission and on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Cyber Consortium. Ken holds a Master’s degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the United States Naval Academy.
