Elizabeth Schmitt

Elizabeth Schmitt is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Enforcement Attorney at the Arizona Corporation Commission since July 2020. Prior to this role, Elizabeth worked as a Deputy County Attorney at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office from November 2018 to July 2020 and as a Certified Law Clerk at the Washington County District Attorney's Office for a year. Elizabeth also held positions as a Student Representative at LexisNexis and as a Law Clerk at the Washington County District Attorney's Office, where responsibilities included drafting legal documents and assisting in trial preparations. Earlier experience includes providing technical support at Apple and conducting research for a community project while interning at the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology. Elizabeth holds a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Environmental and Water Resource Economics, Anthropology, and Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Arizona.
