Katharine A. Fredriksen

Katharine A. Fredriksen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advisory, investment, and corporate leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Policy Advisor to the Chairman at the Arizona Corporation Commission since February 2023, Katharine specializes in strategy and analysis related to energy, utilities, and safety regulations. As an active angel investor at Next Act Fund LLC, Katharine supports women and minority-owned startups across various sectors. Previous roles include Campaign Director and Policy Advisor for Kevin Thompson and Nick Myers' campaigns, Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Shady Side Academy, and various senior positions at CONSOL Energy, where Katharine directed operations, regulatory affairs, and environmental strategies. Additionally, Katharine has valuable experience in federal policy from time spent as a Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Treasury. Academically, Katharine holds a BS in Marine Biology and has completed coursework towards an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University.
