Summer Valentine has extensive experience in urban planning and economic development, currently serving as the Director of Planning, Building and Economic Development for the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood since September 2021. Prior roles include Director of Planning and Manager of Planning at the District Municipality of Muskoka, as well as positions as a Planner at various organizations including Edenlane Homes and the City of Kingston. Summer Valentine holds a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto.
