Trevor Houghton

Trevor Houghton is an experienced planning professional with a distinguished career in community planning and land use management. Since July 2019, Trevor has served as the Manager of Community Planning for the Town of The Blue Mountains, overseeing day-to-day operations related to policy planning initiatives and development approvals while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Prior to this role, Trevor held various positions at the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood from March 2001, including Senior Planner, Community Planner, and Planner. Earlier experience includes work as a Zoning Administrator and Development Advisor in the Town of Caledon, a Planning Officer in the City of Thunder Bay, and a Planning Technician at Can-Plan Properties Inc. Trevor's educational background includes studies at Fanshawe College from 1988 to 1991.
