Paul W. Chellgren

Mr. Chellgren is Retired Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Ashland, Inc. (NYSE: ASH). During Mr. Chellgren’s seven-year tenure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, he was instrumental in executing significant transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and the formation of the Marathon Ashland Petroleum refining venture with USX-Marathon (now Marathon Petroleum Corporation). Mr. Chellgren served as a Director of PNC Financial Services Group for over 21 years. Additionally, Mr. Chellgren provides guidance to Cincinnati-based philanthropic organizations, in the capacity of Chairman Emeritus of the Taft Museum of Art and previously as Vice Chairman of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Presently, Mr. Chellgren is Partner of Snow Phipps Group, LLC, a New York City-based private equity firm.
