Christian Hanner

Christian Hanner has over 16 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. Christian began their career in 2004 as a Consulting Engineer Acoustics for WSP. In 2005, they became an Audio Engineer for Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, where they were responsible for design and implementation of audio solutions for mobile phones in a Symbian/OSE environment, configuration of audio enhancement algorithms, acoustical measurements on mobile phones, and development of Matlab tools for digital filter design, audio simulations, etc. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Audio System Engineer and Software Engineer for Sony Mobile Communications. In this role, they were responsible for design and implementation of audio solutions for mobile phones in an Android environment, tuning of audio enhancement algorithms for speech playback and recording, and electro acoustical measurements. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as an Audio Engineer for Sigma Connectivity AB and a Senior Research Engineer and Software Developer for Dirac Research. In the latter role, they were responsible for software development work related to 3D audio, real time audio processing running on constrained devices, implementation, optimization and feature development. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Software Developer for Neodev AB, and from 2019 to 2021, they were the CEO and Founder of Sound Idea AB. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer for CorPower Ocean.

Christian Hanner received their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with Engineering Physics, specializing in Signal Processing, from Chalmers University of Technology between 1998 and 2003. In addition, they obtained a Responsive Web Design certification from Coursera in February 2019 and a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2016.
