Enric Villarin Martinez

Enric Villarin Martinez began their career in 2016 as an EU Project Manager at Diputación de Barcelona, where they assisted in the proposal writing of Interreg EU project BleuTourMed and drew up a lobby plan targeting European Union's politicians and institutions for supporting Arco Latino. In 2017, they worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Sparkling Media Group SL, where they operated as an email marketer for their own e-commerce sites and for +30 media agencies, generating a total of 311k€ in revenue with 46k€ invested (+500% RoI) in email marketing campaigns. Enric also worked as an EU Project Manager at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, advising university researchers and professors on grant writing for 5 projects under Horizon2020, Interreg, Marie Curie, and Eramsus+. In 2019, they worked as a Public Funding Consultant at Avanoa AB, writing 12 grant proposals resulting in 8 wins (65% success) and raising a total of 10M€ in public funding. Currently, they are a Project Manager at CorPower Ocean, where they are leading CorPower's public funding strategy and grant writing efforts under national and EU programmes, coordinating environmental monitoring activities at their wave energy demonstration site in Portugal, and coordinating CorPower's participation in multi-partner EU project SafeWave.

Enric Villarin Martinez has an education history that includes an International Master in European Project Planning and Management from Pixel Firenze (2016-2017), a Master's degree in European Integration from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2015-2016), and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2011-2015). Enric also holds two additional certifications, one in Fundamentals of Startup Investment from WIT Venture Studio (2022) and one in Lifeguard from the Federació Catalana de Salvament i Socorrisme (April 2013).
