John Barrett

John Barrett is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and advisory roles. Since 2009, John has served as the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Corre Partners Management, LLC. Prior to this, John held significant positions including Board Member at Horizon Global from May 2021 to February 2023, Head of Credit at Trafelet & Company from September 2006 to January 2009, and Senior Vice President at Avenue Capital Management from May 2001 to August 2006. Additionally, John was a Board Member at Titan Energy in 2006. John Barrett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Dartmouth College, where attendance was from 1992 to 1996, and completed secondary education at Regis High School from 1988 to 1992.
