Dr. Eddie Lin

Dr. Eddie Lin has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Dr. Eddie started their career in 2016 as an IBM Wood Doctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University, where they conducted various projects involving data analytics, machine learning, and social network analysis. Throughout their tenure at Columbia University, they developed models to predict students' performance in online tutoring systems, analyzed students' study notes using text mining techniques, and conducted exploratory data analysis on user forum posts in online classes.

In 2019, Dr. Lin worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Springboard, a Data Analytics Research Fellow at The City University of New York, and a Course Instructor at Teachers College, Columbia University. During these roles, they furthered their expertise in machine learning and data analytics.

Dr. Lin's career progressed in 2020 when they joined Meta as a Senior Data Scientist in the Human Reviewers Learning team, where they applied their skills to develop algorithms and models for quality analytics and insights. Dr. Eddie then transitioned to the role of Staff Data Scientist in 2023, continuing their work in quality analytics and insights.

In the same year, Dr. Lin also took on the position of Lead Instructor for Enterprise Data Fluency at Correlation One, where they shared their knowledge and expertise in data fluency with organizations.

Furthermore, Dr. Lin served as a Guest Lecturer on Design Thinking in Data Science at Harvard Business School in 2023 and as the Chair of ICICLE - Corporate MIG at IEEE from 2023 to 2023.
