Julián Darío Miranda-Calle

Julián Darío Miranda-Calle is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at R2 since July 2021, Julián has successfully developed scoring models that significantly reduced Non-Performing Loans rates. Julián is also an Online Course Author for O'Reilly, contributing to "Machine Learning Fundamentals: A Python-Based Course," and holds a teaching associate position at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, instructing both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in systems and informatics engineering. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist, Lead Data Scientist, and serving as a Scrum Master and Machine Learning Engineer on research projects. Julián has a distinguished academic background with a Master's in Data Science and Machine Learning from UCL and an IT and Systems Engineer degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
