Fernando Zambrano Vásquez

Fernando Zambrano Vásquez has a diverse work experience in the IT industry, spanning over several companies. Fernando joined CorreosChile in November 2017, initially as a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and later as a Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of IT Business Development at Claro Chile S.A. starting from March 2015. Before joining Claro, Zambrano held various roles at Multitiendas Corona, including Subgerente de Tecnología (Technology Assistant Manager) and Subgerente de Operaciones TI (IT Operations Assistant Manager) from January 2013 to December 2014. Fernando also served as the IT Services Manager and Systems Engineer at ACT SA from June 2007 to present (with a brief gap between September 2008 and June 2007). Early in their career, Zambrano worked as the Head of IT Services at Andalien SA and as the IT Manager at Clasicc Informática & Comunicaciones. Fernando began their professional journey as a Systems Engineer at the Armada de Chile in March 2000 and stayed there until June 2005.

Fernando Zambrano Vásquez completed their education at two different universities. From 2000 to 2005, they attended the Universidad Tecnológica de Chile, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero de Ejecución en Gestión IT. Later, from 2011 to 2014, Fernando studied at the Universidad Mayor and earned a degree in Ingeniero Civil en Computación e Informática.
