Derek Solomon

Derek Solomon, CPA, MA, CVA, serves as the Director of the Consulting Department at Corrigan Krause CPAs since January 2017, providing a full range of consulting, accounting, tax, and finance solutions. Prior to this role, Solomon engaged in contract and project work in consulting services, focusing on acquisition due diligence and financial modeling. At The Millennia Companies, Solomon held the position of Finance Manager and Director of Asset Management/Investor Relations, overseeing financial responsibilities for a diverse portfolio and managing communications with investors. Solomon also spent over 15 years at Cohen & Company, advancing from Staff Accountant to Director in the Private Company Services Department, where high-level consulting engagements in Corporate Finance and Real Estate were executed. Academically, Solomon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Allegheny College, a Master's Degree in Economics from Cleveland State University, and completed an accounting program at John Carroll University.
