Emad Akeer

Emad Akeer is an experienced engineer specializing in corrosion and material science with a robust academic and professional background. Currently serving as Engineer II at Corrpro Companies, Inc. since June 2019, Akeer has also taught as an Adjunct Faculty member at both the University of Texas at Tyler and Houston Community College from 2016 to 2019. A PhD researcher at Ohio University from 2009 to 2014, Akeer focused on the metallurgy and corrosion of pipeline steels, contributing significant research to the field. Previous roles include Assistant Lecturer at El-Gabel El-Gharby University and Corrosion Engineer Specialist at Waha Oil Company, where responsibilities encompassed corrosion risk assessment and management of cathodic protection systems. Akeer holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and a Master's degree in Corrosion Control Engineering from the University of Manchester.
