Laurent Genthialon

Laurent Genthialon is an Operating Partner of Corsair in London.

Mr. Genthialon has over 2 decades of experience in senior corporate finance and leadership roles in the financial services industries. He has expertise in private equity, M&A, corporate refinancing and business exits. Prior to joining Corsair, Mr. Genthialon worked for 10 years at NM Money Group (“NM”) where he was Head of the European & Equity Projects. While at NM, Mr. Genthialon worked on numerous deal transactions and led a number of finance projects which included end-to-end lifecycles, legal governance and documentation for M&A deal transactions, tax restructuring as well as debt refinancing plans.

Prior to NM, Mr. Genthialon was the CFO and Board Member of H&T Group PLC, a leading UK provider of alternative financial services. During his time at H&T Group PLC, Mr. Genthialon led the successful transition from a privately-owned PE business to a public company with a successful listing on the London Stock Exchange. Before H&T Group PLC, Mr. Genthialon held roles of Controller and Finance Director of Oddbins, a leading UK retail wine specialist, where he successfully led the strategic business integration and sale to Castel Group.

Mr. Genthialon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University Lumière Lyon 2 and holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School, France.
