Martin Mc Court

Martin Mc Court is an Operating Partner of Corsair in London.

Mr. Mc Court has over 35 years’ experience working for high-tech companies. Mr. Mc Court’s areas of expertise include Cybersecurity, Digital Trust Management and Hardware to SaaS transformations. Prior to joining Corsair, Mr. Mc Court worked for 14 years at Gemalto in Digital Security where he was the EVP of Strategy and M&A, CTO and CMO. While at Gemalto, Mr. Mc Court spearheaded the company’s transition from legacy smart cards to leadership in Digital Security, acquiring over 40 high-tech companies and building a €1Billion Software and Services business, increasing enterprise value by 6x.

Mr. Mc Court has held numerous board positions. Currently, Mr. Mc Court is on the board of directors of Corsair portfolio company, IDnow as well as Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq: SWIR) and ComAp a.s.

Mr. Mc Court began his career at Corning Inc. holding positions in Fibre Optic Telecommunications.

Mr. Mc Court earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from University College Dublin, a PhD in Opto-Electronics from Institut National Polytechnique in Grenoble, France, and an MBA from INSEAD, in France. Mr. Mc Court is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Corporate Director’s Certificate Program.
