Matthew Hsu has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Matthew started their career at Micronics Computers in 1987 and held various roles, including VP Engineering and Technical Services. At Micronics Computers, they managed product development, field applications engineering, and network certification and validation labs. Matthew also led the advanced research group and developed strategic relationships with third-party vendors.
In 1996, Hsu joined Diamond Multimedia as the Director of Engineering Services. Matthew expanded and managed the product compatibility lab and oversaw program management for all visual systems division projects.
Hsu then worked at Hewlett-Packard Company, where they held multiple senior director positions. Matthew was responsible for driving the strategic vision and product strategy for HP's Consumer Desktop business. Matthew also oversaw product innovation and management, worked with supply chain and marketing departments, and made strategic business decisions. Hsu directed supply chain operations, controlled supply costs, and managed inventory strategies supporting consumer PC's revenue stream.
Currently, Hsu is working at Corsair as the Sr. Vice President and General Manager of Systems Business Unit and Group R&D. Matthew is responsible for leading and building an R&D organization, and has successfully launched over 50 products a year, earning more than 250 product awards.
Throughout their career, Hsu has demonstrated strong leadership skills, innovation, and a track record of successfully managing and growing business units.
Matthew Hsu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 1983 to 1985. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the same university, completing their studies in 1986.
