Otávio Passaia

Otávio Passaia is an accomplished civil engineer and academic professional with a robust background in engineering, research, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Civil Engineer at Corsan since November 2023, Otávio also teaches various civil engineering subjects at Profes, contributing to the education of colleagues, friends, and clients. Previous positions include technical management at Ludfor Energia, technical support at Bertolini Sistemas de Armazenagem SA, and civil engineering roles with the Brazilian Navy and Funceme. Otávio holds a Master’s degree in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where research focused on simulating Brazilian reservoirs. An undergraduate researcher developed software for processing NASA's ICESat altimetry data and engaged in scholarship activities aimed at enhancing educational experiences within the academic community.
