Joel Krooswyk

Joel Krooswyk is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Federal CTO at GitLab, with a focus on software development, DevSecOps, and generative AI technologies since August 2017. Previously, Joel held the position of Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture at GitLab, where significant achievements included building high-performing presales teams and acting as Federal CTO in 2022. Prior experience includes roles at CA Technologies as the Strategic Enterprise Presales Director, where management of a team of Principal Consultants led to impactful enterprise transformations for Fortune 50 accounts, and at Rally Software, where Joel advanced Agile methodologies. Joel's career began at Panduit Corporation, moving from a Product Manager role into business development and sales engineering. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and has been serving on the advisory board for Corsha since May 2023.
