Mansi Patel

Mansi Patel is currently an analyst at Cortado Ventures. Mansi previously interned at Cortado Ventures from September 2021 to December 2021, where they performed phase one diligence on new companies in the pipeline and offered recommendations to the principal on which companies fit our thesis and would be worth looking further into and taking a meeting. Mansi also reviewed 50+ pitches and performed diligence on those that fit our focus areas. In addition, Mansi attended local pitches and venture forum luncheons, drafted initial investment memos, created financial models for companies in final diligence, worked with a startup on improving pitch deck slides, and assisted in data entry in Affinity.

Before their internship at Cortado Ventures, Mansi interned at TG0 from June 2021 to August 2021 as a finance accounting intern. There, they researched competitors and potential firms for Series B funding, extensively utilized Google Sheets for projects, helped refine the reimbursement process, assisted in database entry of all expenses and assignment of costs to projects, and reconciled invoices and accounting entries within Xero.com.

Mansi Patel has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Master of Business Administration - MBA from University of Oklahoma Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Science - BS in Biology from University of Oklahoma, an Accounting and Finance degree from University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business, and a High School Diploma from Norman North High School. Mansi also has certifications from Training The Street in Training The Street, Choice Hotels International in HOST Certification, American National Standards Institute in Nationally Certified Food Manager, Choice Hotels International in Reputation Management, and Choice Hotels International in Revenue Management.
