Sen Kang

Sen Kang is a highly experienced Senior Corrosion Engineer at Cortec Corporation since June 2016, specializing in product development for Migrating Corrosion Inhibitors (MCI) and water-based corrosion inhibitors, successfully commercializing four efficient products. Prior to this role, Sen served as a Senior Chemist at The Dow Chemical Company from April 2015 to May 2016, where contributions included leading the development of a new metal electroplating platform and creating catalyst systems for metallization of non-conducting polymer substrates. Sen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and both a Master's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
