Dr. Lucinda Bateman’s career began in primary care as a general internist in 1991. Since 2000 she has focused on the diagnosis and management of illnesses in the spectrum of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. This has included clinical research, consulting, education and advocacy. In 2015 she left private practice to help create a 501(c)3 nonprofit-organization, the Bateman Horne Center. The mission of BHC is to improve the lives of people with ME/CFS and FM through informed clinical care, education and advancement of research.
