Francesca Lawson

Francesca Lawson currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Corteria Pharmaceuticals since June 2022. Prior to this role, Francesca held positions at Applied Therapeutics, Inc. from January 2019 to March 2022, where responsibilities included Vice President of Clinical Regulatory Strategy and Head of Development. Francesca's extensive experience at sanofi from December 2007 to January 2019 encompassed roles such as Associate Vice President and Head of Outcome Trials in Diabetes Development, as well as Senior Director in the Diabetes Division of Research & Development. Earlier in Francesca's career, service as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania occurred from July 1994 to December 2000.
