Arvind Jaganathan

Arvind Jaganathan is a seasoned professional in organic chemistry with a diverse background in both academic and industrial settings. Currently serving as the Fermentation Platform Leader and Strategy and Initiatives Leader at Corteva Agriscience since April 2014, Arvind has held various roles including Principal Investigator for Small Molecule Discovery & Development and Group Leader. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Scientist at Dow AgroSciences and Senior Chemist at The Dow Chemical Company. Arvind began a career in research at Michigan State University as a Graduate Assistant, focusing on asymmetric catalysis and natural product synthesis, and also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Chemical Laboratory, where the emphasis was on synthesizing small molecule libraries for antibiotic evaluation. Arvind holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University, a Master’s from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Fergusson College.
