Barbara Rodrigues

Barbara Rodrigues is currently a Biological Formulation Scientist at Corteva Agriscience, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Barbara completed a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology at Texas A&M University from January 2018 to May 2023, where research included molecular biology techniques and disease assays in Arabidopsis. Barbara also earned a Master of Science in Genetics, Biochemistry, and Plant Pathology from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) between August 2015 and July 2017, focusing on the antimicrobial potential of biodegradable peptides. Earlier experience includes an internship at Biogenetics Molecular Technology in 2014, where responsibilities involved DNA testing and sequencing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from UFU, completed in 2015. In addition, Barbara gained insight into clinical research through coursework at Harvard Medical School in 2015.
