Daniel Valco

Daniel Valco is a highly experienced Reactive Chemicals Subject Matter Expert currently employed at Corteva Agriscience since June 2019, where responsibilities include hazard assessment, laboratory testing, and kinetic modeling to comprehend chemical process hazards. Daniel has served as the technical leader of the reactive chemicals group and co-leads the Corteva Communities of Practices. Earlier roles included a position at DowDuPont focused on dust explosion and flammability testing, as well as graduate research assistantships at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Michigan State University. Notable early research experience includes conducting combustion studies with the Army Research Laboratory and investigating tribological properties during a summer internship at NASA Glenn Research Center. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
