Jay Devaraj

Jay Devaraj is an accomplished chemical engineering professional with extensive experience in research and process development across various organizations. Currently serving as R&D Group Leader at Corteva Agriscience since June 2019, Jay has held multiple technical leadership roles focusing on Continuous Flow Technology. Prior experience includes positions at Dow as an Associate Research Scientist and Senior Research Engineer, where Jay was instrumental in design and development of chemical processing equipment. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with earlier degrees in Computer Applications and Petroleum Engineering. Jay’s career began at Chennai Petroleum Corp. Ltd, where foundational skills in process operation were developed.
