Jun-Zhi Wei

Jun-Zhi Wei is a highly experienced professional in the field of plant science and genetics, currently serving as a Technical Manager at Corteva Agriscience since June 2019, where responsibilities include Portfolio Management Lead and HT Discovery Lead. Prior experience includes roles at DowDuPont as a Sr. Research Scientist and Leadership in the Biological Group, as well as significant contributions at Pioneer Seed Company as a Sr. Research Scientist and Principal Investigator. Jun-Zhi Wei's career began with positions as a Scientist at Maxygen and Postdoctoral Scientist at both the University of California-San Diego and the USDA Agricultural Research Service. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Science from Utah State University, an MS in Plant Genetics and Breeding from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and a B.Sci. in Agronomy from Shanxi Agricultural University.
