Karen Meinders

Karen Meinders is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in sustainability and change management. Currently serving as the Global Sustainability Communications Leader at Corteva Agriscience since August 2019, Karen directs the design and implementation of sustainability messaging, collaborating with communication experts to ensure alignment with the enterprise sustainability strategy. Previous roles include Communications and Change Management Consultant at Nationwide Insurance, Communications Consultant as a self-employed contractor, and Instructor at Des Moines Area Community College. Earlier career highlights include serving as Communications Manager at Monsanto Company and Director of Communications for the American Heart Association of Iowa. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Public Relations and Speech Communications, as well as a Master's degree in Communications Leadership, both from Drake University.
