Lead Engineer

Kate Li is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in chemical production and plant operations. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Corteva Agriscience since June 2022, Kate oversees the Alpha plant for Optinyte, specializing in N2 availability maximization for corn crops, while also mentoring engineers and co-ops. Previous roles include Plant Decommissioning Lead at Corteva, where Kate contributed to a significant $6M decommissioning project, and various positions at Valero Energy Corporation, including Unit Superintendent, Controls Engineer, and Process Engineer, where operational strategies and environmental compliance were prioritized.
