Ken Clevenger is an experienced scientist specializing in natural product discovery and metabolomics, currently serving as the Natural Product Active Gen Co-Leader and Metabolomics Group Leader at Corteva Agriscience since June 2020. Clevenger's work focuses on utilizing advances in mass spectrometry and genomics to develop sustainable agrichemicals. Previously, Clevenger held positions at AbbVie as a Senior Scientist leading biology for early oncology targets, and contributed as a Ruth L Kirschstein NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, studying post-translational modifications in glioma-related oncogenes. With postdoctoral experience at Northwestern University developing high-throughput fungal natural product discovery methods, and early research on Pseudomonas aeruginosa at The University of Texas at Austin, Clevenger holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Butler University.
