Mark Freed

Mark Freed serves as the VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Corteva Agriscience since August 2020, bringing extensive experience in cybersecurity across various industries. In addition to current roles at Corteva, Freed is a Board Member of NaVOBA, advocating for corporate contracting opportunities for veterans, and a Director on the Board of IT-ISAC, which focuses on enhancing cybersecurity collaboration. As an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, Freed contributes to online cybersecurity education. Previous leadership roles include serving as Chief Information Security Officer at TechnipFMC and FMC Technologies, along with senior positions at Comcast and Temple University. Freed's education includes an MBA from Averett University and specialized security training from The Wharton School and the FBI Academy.
