Tzahi Shimkin

Tzahi Shimkin currently serves as the VP of AI & R&D at Cortica, overseeing the development of AI strategies for the autonomous robotics sector and leading cross-functional teams in the integration of advanced technologies. Previous roles include VP of AI & R&D at Constru, managing AI initiatives in construction, and Deep Learning Team Lead at D-ID, where Tzahi directed a team focused on generative video technologies. Tzahi also held positions as Algorithm Team Leader at BlinkAI Technologies, Deep Learning Researcher at Amazon, and Machine Learning Researcher at Intel Labs, further enhancing expertise in AI and machine learning applications. Tzahi began a career as a Hardware Engineer at Apple and holds a Master’s Degree in Machine Learning and Deep Learning and a Bachelor of Engineering in Image Processing from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
