Josiah Oberholtzer

Josiah Oberholtzer is a Software Engineer at Cortico since October 2021, previously serving as a Master Software Engineer at Capital One from May 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included migrating core account processing to cloud-native systems and managing Cassandra clusters. As a Senior Software Engineer, Josiah implemented local integration testing for hybrid systems and modernized build pipelines. Prior experience includes work at Discogs as a Full Stack Developer, where efforts focused on refactoring and feature development for a legacy Python codebase, and roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University, contributing to research projects and teaching in music-related fields. Josiah holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Music from Harvard University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Oberlin College.
