Zahra Ahmed

Associate Producer at Cortina Productions

As a Production Coordinator, Zahra provides support on the content development and production of video and interactive experiences. She is responsible for media research, image licensing, shoot planning and coordination, media organization, and script writing and development. Zahra brings a background in writing and research as well as documentary film production to support the team with her knowledge of industry standards and managing film shoots from pre-production to picture lock. Her recent projects include the new Make Good the Promises: Reconstruction and Its Legacies” exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and the International African American Museum, which opens in 2023.

Zahra graduated from Swarthmore College with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Music, and Black Studies.
