Robert Bateman

Robert Bateman is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since February 2013, Robert has been with Cortland, serving as Senior Director of Construction and previously holding the positions of Director of Production - East and Senior Production Manager. Prior to this, Robert worked at the Georgia Department of Corrections as a Construction Supervisor from May 2011 to January 2013 and held the role of Construction Manager at Ponders Mountain Homes from January 2010 to April 2011. Robert's career began at Apex Homes as President from January 1992 to December 2009, and earlier, Robert was a Residential Construction Manager and Partner at Exxell Homes from January 1985 to January 1992. Robert holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Edison State Community College and attended the University of Florida between 1982 and 1983.
