Jozef Zon

Jozef Zon, CPA, CGA has over 19 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles. JOZEF is currently the Director of Finance, Program Rights at Corus Entertainment, where they are responsible for the accounting of all television activities of the Programming Group and provides financial support to the Programming Group and senior leadership team for television operations.

Prior to their current role, Jozef worked at Rogers Media for 10 years, starting as a Financial Analyst and progressing to roles such as Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager. At Rogers Media, they supported multiple television stations and local community channels, developing strategic plans, budgets, and business cases. JOZEF also served as a regulatory Subject Matter Expert and Finance lead for a content production company.

Before their time at Rogers Media, Jozef worked at Dynamex Canada Corp as a Financial Analyst, providing accounting and taxation support for a courier company. Their responsibilities included preparing tax returns, financial statements, and complex financial modeling.

Earlier in their career, Jozef worked at Tectrol Inc. as an Accounting Supervisor, where they supervised accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit/collections functions. JOZEF also prepared journal entries and financial statements and coordinated month-end activities.

Throughout their career, Jozef has gained comprehensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and executive-level reporting. JOZEF has strong expertise in the television industry and has consistently provided strategic financial support to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Jozef Zon, CPA, CGA completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Ryerson University from 1997 to 2001. JOZEF then pursued further education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2002 to 2005.
