Karen Shute

Karen Shute is an experienced Senior Promo Editor with a career spanning over two decades in the broadcasting industry. Since April 2016, Karen has been contributing to Corus Entertainment in a senior editing capacity. Prior to this role, Karen served at Shaw Media from 2008 to present, where responsibilities included both Senior and Intermediate Promo Editor positions. Karen's career began at Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting from 1999 to 2007, focusing on assistant editing, post sync, and long-form projects. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Film Study from Laurentian University, earned between 1993 and 1999.
