Hector Giovanni Rivera is a seasoned professional with significant experience in program management and compliance within the humanitarian and international development sectors. Currently serving as Regional Program Manager for Latin America & Caribbean at Corus International, Hector previously held the position of Lead Associate, Award Manager at Save the Children US, managing multiple USAID-funded projects across various countries, including Mozambique, Malawi, Colombia, and Bangladesh. Hector’s background includes roles in law as a paralegal, immigration specialist, and contract consultant, complemented by a Master of Science in Global Affairs focused on International Development and Humanitarian Assistance from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Ocean Sciences, Environmental Science & Policy, and Latin American Studies from Duke University.
