Samarth Gupte

Samarth Gupte has worked in various roles across the oil and gas industry since 2011. Samarth began as a Summer Intern at GAIL (India) Limited in 2011, followed by a Graduate Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2014-2018. During this time, they conducted research in the Fracking Group and designed a 3-D Numerical model of a MultiFrac Well in Permian Basin using CMG & IHS-Harmony simulator. Samarth also innovated RCPS, resulting in a 9-12% increase in oil recovery. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Lead Wellsite Geologist at Chevron and a Wellsite Geologist at Impac Exploration Services. Samarth then worked as a Completions Fluid Engineer at Emerald Surf Sciences in 2018, followed by a Product Engineer - Drilling and Drilling Analytics Engineer at Moblize. Since 2020, they have been a Workflow Design Engineer at ExxonMobil, and most recently, a Product Manager at Corva since 2022.

Samarth Gupte obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University in 2012, followed by a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2016.
